"If you tired, be quiet, and go to sleep!"

I really wish I could sleep right now but for some reason, about once a week, I go into about a 36 hour funk where no matter what it is that I do to try and fall asleep I fail. I know that is the problem(the fact that I am trying to go to sleep)but I get into that deadly cycle and there is no escaping it. I have gotten better over the past few years about staying in a routine, which, I will tell you, is the most important factor in getting good rest. I do always come up with great random ideas when I am up at this hour, like how I am going to start working out again, or how am I am going to stop eating so terribly, but just like the insomnia subsides, so do these "great" ideas unfortunately.

Okay, enough about me let's talk about the Ryder Cup.
I do have to say that I am super impressed with the American Team this 2010 go-round. I know that they got beat but let's be honest about one thing. Golf is probably the biggest global sport in terms of foreigners participation, and America competes head to head with 20 some odd countries from Europe every other year. I mean honestly the USA should get stomped if you really look at the players and the odds. Unfortunately the USA has gotten stomped the previous two Ryder Cups, and by an annoying European captain in Colin Montgomery. He is annoying and sort of a twit but I do have to admit that he was a good golfer and has proven to be a winning captain for the Europeans lately. His counterpart this year, Cory Pavin, did an amazing job I think. I believe that this was the best Ryder Cup team that USA has had in the recent past(excluding the greatest golf comeback of all time in 1997). Okay so the picture that the European camera man got of Tiger Woods "shanking" his chip shot is pretty awesome. There is just something about Tiger that just attracts greatness and great moments. Tigerwoodshittingballrightatcamera_crop_340x234 And this is a great moment for sure. I mean look at all the faces of the people in the crowd. My favorite is the Indian dude smoking a cigar with his brown turban on, he honestly looks like a cartoon character.

Alright it is time to get me some "Mike and Mike" in and get ready for work...

Really Hussein

"The problem that I've seen in the debate that's been taking place and in some of these Tea Party events is, I think they're misidentifying sort of who the culprits are here," said Obama. "As I said before, we had to take some emergency steps last year. But the majority of economists will tell you that the emergency steps we take are not the problem long-term. The problems long-term are the problems that I talked about earlier. We had two tax cuts that weren't paid for, two wars that weren't paid for. We've got a population that's getting older. We're all demanding services, but our taxes have actually substantially gone down."

-Barack "Hussein" Obama, to the Tea Party at the Town Meeting

His direct questioning of the Tea Party's motives came just moments before he acknowledged that being "healthfully skeptical about government" is in "our DNA.

And people actually believe this clown. I am actually proud of the American people because if you have noticed lately his approval rating has plummeted. I just had to get in a political piece on a blog called "The Truth"

"Quotes"

So, I really enjoy quotes from people who are important, intelligent, interesting, or just flat out funny. One of my favorite "man of words" is Yogi Berra; He is known for his witty comments such as; "When you come to a fork in the road, take it"... Well I dont know if that would be defined as witty but it definitely makes you think. Also people like Benjamin Franklin are always good for a number of interesting quotes. believe it or not but Dr. Seuss has some very enlightening words. I am not sure what his background is but I do remember it being something very interesting. I wonder if people will look down on me for the lack of grammatical accuracy in a "Blog" post? I am sort of just rambling, but I do not have much to write about. I am watching "Criminal Minds" with my beautiful girlfriend Lauren Renee Loebel. We are probably the biggest "TV Series" watching couples in West Tennessee. We watch Burn Notice, White Collar, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Covert Affairs, Income Property, (yes that is on HGTV) Glades, Royal Pains, Kardashians, and Lord knows how many others...

Okay, back to the quotes... I will leave you(whomever you is)with a quote everyday...

"Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.”

-Dr. Seuss

First Blog Ever

Okay,
I am new to the whole blogging thing, and honestly not really sure what it is that I will end up posting on here. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not that opinionated, HA. Anyway, I am just getting started and I am at work right now so I have to get off.
